In December 2025, seniors from the Tennessee School for the Blind and Governor Morehead School for the Blind experienced a life-changing ski trip made possible by Foreseeable Future Foundation. Proving that one powerful moment can build confidence, independence, and belief that lasts far beyond the mountain.

Evan’s journey shows what is possible when determination meets opportunity. A visually impaired athlete, educator, and founder of Cane and Able Fitness, Evan turned his passion into a global impact – competing in strongman competitions, creating accessible fitness resources, and inspiring others in the blind and visually impaired community to try new challenges and reach their full potential.
Foreseeable Future Foundation partnered with Old Mates Pub in New York City to host Come to Your Senses, a blindfolded dinner dining experience. Sighted attendees gained insight into the challenges faced by the visually impaired community while connecting with others in an unforgettable evening.
The Foreseeable Future Foundation teamed up with AmpSurf, Adaptive Sports New England, and Bagel Boys to host an Adaptive Surfing Clinic in Rhode Island. Visually impaired athletes and their families enjoyed an evening of courage, connection, and pure joy.
Armed with a determination to improve the accessibility of early intervention services for blind children, two mothers came together and formed Blind Early Services of Tennessee in 2020.
The week-long camp gives blind children, ages 9 to 17, a chance to have fun and develop confidence, independence and lifelong friendships.
Founded after the COVID-19 pandemic, Blind Fitness offers numerous recreational activities, including an annual surf clinic.
The 35-year-old athlete took a year off to get married and raise a family. Now, she’s ready to resume training for 2025.
