Camwood Farms – Franklin, Tennessee

On February 23rd, 2023, Foreseeable was so excited to work with Camwood Farms in Franklin, Tennessee. This was a fun and educational event for the trainers and staff to try to go off of their other senses while attempting to put a saddle on, walk the horse into the ring, ride the horse, and jump the horse. These individuals were blindfolded during these moments so that they could get the full experience of what it would be like if they were visually impaired/blind. This was also a great lesson for them to better understand what it’s like to come in contact with a rider with little to no vision and they developed greater appreciation and understanding from this lesson. They learned how to trust in their senses more as well as rely on the animal for guidance.
Foreseeable is excited for future events with Camwood Farms. Thanks again to Camille and the team!

2 of our ranch camps were in partnership with TN School for the Blind, 1 was at White Fawn Farm in TN and the other was at Southall Farm and Inn in TN. This took place over the course of 2 days.
