Self-Advocacy Program

Have you ever wished you could do something and were told no by someone? Have you ever done something and wished you had a modification to make your involvement more inclusive? Have you ever had someone else advocate for you and things changed for the better? You don’t have to depend on others to speak for you. YOU can make a difference in your own life. The Self-Advocacy Program has been designed to show you how to use your voice. It will teach you how to speak up for yourself and make your life what you want it to be.

Ranch Program

For the past year, the Foreseeable Future Foundation has made an effort to change that by hosting a series of camps for blind and low-vision children. While these camps offer only a glimpse of horsemanship skills, it’s a great opportunity for kids to have a basic understanding of how to care for and bond with a horse.

Horsemanship involves more than just getting on a horse and riding around a trail. It is not only a skill, but an art that must be learned and practiced.

"Thank you for letting us come to Southall. You let us get to experience things that most people don’t get to do often. I enjoyed trying new things that I would never get to try. The four-course lunch was different but it was good. I enjoyed the lake activities that we did. It was a wonderful experience."

-Cheyenne, Camp Participant

"Thank you for the invite to Southall Farms. My favorite things to do were experience the jammery and taste the different types of honey. This has created memories that will last a lifetime for me. I enjoyed all of the experiences there, and I hope you have a good rest of the summer."

-Luke, Camp Participant

"Thank you for going above and beyond to make a difference in our lives!"
