2026 Gala: A Night Dedicated to What’s Possible

This is a collage of photos of athletes that have been supported by Foreseeable Future Foundation. There is a little boy playing soccer. There is a teenage girl skiing. There is a man running. There is a team photo of a baseball team. And there is a young man rock climbing.

Every year, the Foreseeable Future Foundation hosts a Gala that is about much more than a single night.

It’s about what that night sets in motion.

On June 9, supporters will gather once again to raise funds and expand opportunities for children, teens, and adults who are blind or visually impaired. At its core, this event isn’t just about fundraising. It’s about helping people build confidence, independence, and a clearer path forward in their everyday lives.

What This Gala Really Supports

The Gala is one of the few times each year where the entire Foreseeable Future Foundation community comes together in one place.

Supporters, partners, athletes, families, and advocates all show up for the same reason: to keep opening doors for individuals who are blind or visually impaired.

It is a night built on connection and shared experience. You are not sitting on the outside looking in. You are hearing directly how access to sports, movement, and new environments has changed real lives.

There is something different about being in a room where everyone believes in the same thing: that access matters, that inclusion should be the standard, and that everyone deserves the chance to try, grow, and participate fully.

And what starts in that room doesn’t stay there. It shows up later in ski trips, competitions, training programs, and everyday moments where someone gets to say yes to something that once felt out of reach.

A Night That Reflects the Mission

The Gala isn’t just something you attend. It is something you step into.

From the moment the evening begins, you’re surrounded by it – conversations that matter, stories that stay with you, and moments that feel bigger than the room itself. You are not just hearing about access, you are seeing what it looks like in real life. On the field, on the mountain, in the classroom, and in everyday moments most people take for granted.

There will be a natural rhythm to the night. You will find yourself pulled into conversations with people you just met, unexpectedly moved by a story you didn’t see coming, and noticing your perspective shift in real time.

And then it happens… that moment where everything connects. You don’t just understand the mission… you feel why it matters.

Why It Matters

For many of the individuals supported by the foundation, the biggest shift isn’t just practical. It’s personal.

It is realizing, sometimes for the first time, “I can actually do this.” That belief carries into everything – school, work, relationships, and future goals. And THAT is the kind of impact this Gala helps make possible.

Meet This Year’s Honoree

This year, the Foreseeable Future Foundation is proud to honor Dan Orwig, President of Peerless Clothing, for his leadership and the way he has used it to create impact beyond the workplace.

Throughout his career, Dan has built and led teams with a clear sense of direction, driving growth while staying grounded in strong values. His work spans global strategy, innovation, and long-term business development but what stands out is how that leadership shows up outside of business.

Dan has spent years supporting organizations that serve families and the next generation. He served as CEO of the Father’s Day/Mother’s Day Council for a decade and continues to serve as a board member, helping guide efforts that have raised over $30 million for charities supporting families in need.

He is also a board member of the Fashion Scholarship Fund, where he has played a key role in supporting students pursuing careers in the fashion industry, including serving as Gala Chair in recent years to help drive scholarship funding and opportunity.

In addition, his work with Delivering Good has contributed to providing essential items to individuals and families facing hardship, helping ensure people have access to basic needs with dignity.

That commitment to access, to making sure people have what they need to participate fully in life, closely reflects the mission behind this Gala.

Dan’s leadership is a reminder that impact can take many forms. And when it is done well, it opens doors, creates opportunity, and strengthens communities in lasting ways.

Be Part of the Impact

This event is a chance to be part of something that continues long after the evening ends.

Whether you attend the Gala or support through a sponsorship, you are helping create more opportunities for individuals who are blind or visually impaired to try something new, build confidence, and move through the world with greater independence.

If you would like to be part of this year’s event, you can visit the Gala page to explore general admission tickets or sponsorship opportunities.

Because one night really can change what comes next.
