Building a
Better Community
for all

Kids and young adults with visual impairment do not always have opportunities to be included in camps, sports, and community activities. Individuals who are affected may not have the financial support to be able to afford equipment, cost of travel or coaching. Foreseeable Future Foundation closes the gap on independence and building confidence in adaptive sports and recreation.

Bridge to Independence
Two male cyclists racing at high speed on a grey tandem bike around a wooden velodrome track. The sighted pilot in front and the visually impaired athlete in the back are wearing matching black skinsuits and aerodynamic helmets, leaning intensely into a turn.

Sports Equipment

Providing equipment for the individuals is vital in their success. From a tandem bike, to adaptive hockey gear, or purchasing adaptive baseballs and bases for blind baseball, donations make sure every child has what they need to safely play and compete.

A large, smiling group of visually impaired youth, their families, and volunteers posing for a group photo inside the 'Sky Zone Party Room'. Participants of all ages are gathered together against a blue wall, wearing orange trampoline socks, representing a vibrant community event.

Community Connections

Creating a space for families and individuals with visual impairment to empower and provide more understanding to those around them.

Two athletes, likely a visually impaired participant and his guide, celebrating a moment of triumph outdoors. Both men are wearing matching light blue t-shirts and sunglasses, raising their arms high in the air with expressions of pure joy and accomplishment against a backdrop of green trees.

Direct Impact

The impact from the dollars we raise support the real individuals, real families, and real experiences.

Two female open-water swimmers, a visually impaired athlete and her sighted guide, walking arm-in-arm across a sandy beach after exiting the water. Both are wearing black wetsuits and smiling broadly, demonstrating the strong bond of trust and partnership found in adaptive sports.

Life-Changing Experiences

From adaptive camps to Paralympic dreams.

A male climber scaling an indoor wall while wearing a black eye mask to simulate total blindness or ensure fairness in competition. He is wearing a white earbud to listen to verbal directions from a 'caller' on the ground, highlighting the importance of auditory communication and trust in blind climbing.

Empowerment

We provide training materials, self-advocacy curriculum, and programs to help gain independence.

A casual social gathering of adults, including community members and volunteers, sitting in a circle on a sunny outdoor deck under a large white umbrella. They are enjoying a meal and engaging in conversation, highlighting the importance of peer support and social connection within the foundation.

the Founder

Griffin Pinkow was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP), a retinal degenerative disease, at the age of 12. In college, Griffin worked with several organizations representing the visually impaired community. Griffin realized these organizations focused primarily on research rather than helping individuals live fulfilling lives without sight. In 2013, he began laying the groundwork for Foreseeable Future Foundation. The foundation’s mission is to enhance the lives of visually impaired individuals through sports and recreation. Griffin is dedicated to helping others with visual impairment lead independent and fulfilling lives, by raising awareness about the challenges they face each day. By raising funds to support the overall mission of Foreseeable Future Foundation, he is able to give back to those in need of inclusive experiences.
